This Complex was dedicated in Honor of Ed Smith in May of 1995 after serving
37 years as Recreation Director for the City of Vidalia. The complex is
located between Ga. Hwy 292 and US Hwy 280 at Stockyard Road just East
of Downtown Vidalia.
The Ed Smith Complex has 5 lighted baseball fields, ranging from 150 ft to 325 ft, 4 batting cages, 4 lighted tennis courts, 2 concession stands, playground and 3 covered pavillions.
Pavillions may be reserved for any event or gathering at NO CHARGE by contacting Traci Shiver at (912) 537-7913
